Carlsbad Caverns : A collection inspired by Ansel Adams' 1936 and 1941 shoots at Carlsbad, about which he said "This I must photograph -- pray for me." Like Ansel, I've ultimately destroyed many of the images I created there during my week-long shoot, and like him I found shooting there an immense challenge due to lighting conditions. All shots in this collection are with available light only, no flash or added lighting was used.

Your Bio

Photography as passion began for Harrison many years ago, with a Brownie and a Polaroid Land Camera. His first 35mm experience came soon after, but making a living got the better of him. After decades of doing other things, he has finally wised up and turned his attention to photography as a full time endeavor. Focusing on Landscape and Art photography, Harrison is now living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia.
